Little Vampires

Hope all the dads had a wonderful Father’s Day!

We had a wonderful time at Denver Comicon. Thanks to all the staff that helped make it a great show, and thanks to everyone that supported us by visiting Monsterdell. Thanks to Jason and Maya and Jeff for a spectacular dinner at Lime. And special thanks to our awesome booth buddy, Alina Pete, and to our friends Cody and Sheatiel and Dane and Ashlie.

This experimental ink sketch of the Creature from the Black Lagoon was drawn at the convention. I used Copic Marker refill ink and rubbing alcohol to get the wash effect. I really enjoy experimenting with new styles and methods! And I really enjoy drawing monsters.

We are on the road with Steam Crow today as we make our way back to Phoenix, Arizona, then home to San Diego. Adventure!
