This has always bothered me about TV shows set in small towns with amateur detectives. How is anyone still alive with all that murder happening?

Which then explains why the small town detective has to go on trips the next season.. they have to restock the murder.. I mean fishing hole every now and then
Exactly.
The towns are usually pretty picturesque. Maybe they have really great PR and cheap real estate? (Since all the murdered people no longer need houses.)
It’s all about keeping property taxes down.
Sounds like the amateur detective might be the culprit…lol
Oh you know Jessica Fletcher was a stone-cold killllllaaaaaaa.
This discussion made me think of the famous five, who not only run into criminals all the time, poor kids, but also have a gazillion summer holidays at the age of eleven. I realized that I have only ever read one of the novels (I had audio tapes), and I never read it in the original language, and oh look, there‘s a collection of 15 ebooks with the original drawings, shiny!
Yeah, um, I have plenty to read now. 😀
I love this storyline so dang much.
