Delicious wins over funny every time.
We’ll be celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Little Vampires at San Diego Comic-Con, and we need your help! I’d like to sprinkle some “customer testimonials” around the booth so people know what the Little Vampires are all about. These would look like the recommendations you read on the backs of books. So write a short blurb about why you love the Little Vampires in the comments!
I have the honor of being on a panel at SDCC! Thank you to Devastator Press for inviting me.
The Many Mutations of Monster Comics
Saturday, July 22, 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Room 23ABC
When you hear “monster comics,” you might envision a 1950s Dracula or Wolfman biting a screaming woman in a negligee. Monsters have mutated since then and they’re weirder and funnier than ever! Moderator Mike Levine (The Onion) asks artists Shing Yin Khor (Beyond Press), Kory Bing (Skin Deep), Daniel and Dawna Davis(Steam Crow), Danny Lacy (Adult Swim), and Rebecca Hicks (Little Vampires) about their uniquely 21st century takes on supernatural creatures of the beyond! Find out what’s hiding in their closets.
What do I love about Little Vampires? Let me count the ways! I love how all the residents of Monsterdell remind me of people I know (I think I’m Frank). I love that the monsters all have unique personalities and they really come out in the strips. I love how much they make me laugh, and think. And I love that through them I have made two incredible friends!

I’m totally using this. 🙂
A beautiful quirky blend of the monstrous and cute.
I love this so much. Can I please use it? If so, is Candina Hannah the name you would like to be credited with?
